when did you transition to crib and start sleep training/what method?
I'm reading conflicting information when to transfer our little one to the crib (currently in a bassinet next to our bed, a baby bay). My husband doesn't want to due to risk of SIDs until 6 months but I'm starting to read that you should start a cry it out method around 4 months (please no judgmental comments). Our little guy was doing okay for the last couple weeks taking naps, would go down awake when after I just picked him up once or twice to soothe him, sometimes he needed no soothing. This week is a different story. He is starting to protest all naps and waking up more (16 weeks). I think he is getting overstimulated everytime I come in to soothe him so I feel that cry it out may be the only option. Last night he woke every 2 hrs. The only thing it says they need to be in their own room to do it?
Please no negative comments... you can comment with helpful info conflicting with cry it out but nothing hateful.
Thanks!
