Bib rash help?

My 6mo has been teething since she was 3mo and the drool never stops lol. The rash under her chin comes and goes usually but lately it has come and stayed. We change her cloths and bib at home if she's wet and her daycare does as well but it just looks awful right now :(  any tips or remedies to help combat this?

I heard that using Vaseline helps... helps soothe the skin and something about reducing the ability for the saliva to linger on the skin or something??

We've been having the same problem (and actually yours looks way better than my little one's rash!) and I asked the pediatrician about it yesterday at her 6month check up. She said it's very normal and there isn't much that can be done, just keep it dry as much as possible. I have been using Burts Bee's ointment on when it gets really red and it has helped, but that's about all the advice I can offer. Good luck!

My LO is the same way, the best thing we can do about it is jus put a&d ointment. Try to keep it as dry as possible

I've read cornstarch helps because it dries it out

Vaseline has helped wonders for my little man. Put it on his/her hands too. I've read it protects the skin from the saliva.

My LO had that problem too and my dr recommended hydrocortisone I put it on at night that way she's not rubbing it with toys etc. it seems to help. I use the aveno brand cause it's lighter for babies I was told.

Same here. My son is almost 7 months and I recently noticed the rash and I figured it was from all the drool and bib so we just switch bibs more often. I wanna try the amber necklace since that's supposed to reduce inflammation and drooling but my husband isn't on board.
