Help!!!

My husband and I had sex monday and i had a D&C Thursday due to not having a period for 2 months then the doctor having to give me meds to make me start and just went a month without having one so they wanted to do a D&C to clean out my uterus and then put me on birth control until me and my husband were ready to start trying. But my question if anyone can help me is like i said we had sex monday and the D&C Thursday morning, can I possibly get pregnant from that???? My doctor wants me to start birth control sunday which is tomorrow to get my periods back on cycle so when the time comes we can stop the birth control and try to have a baby. If anyone can help i would really appreciate it!!!
