opinions please

I'm not looking for false hope I truly want opinions. My husband and I have been TTC since October. This month I used the opk and BD everyday around my fertile time. My period did start on time but it's just spotty. It's been 2 days and I am completely off my period. I've taken a few tests (one on the day I started none since then) but it wasn't like my normal period. I called the dr and they just said "you aren't pregnant, some people just have light periods" but I'm 25 not 12 I know my regular period!!! My breast are sore...... could I be pregnant??? Or should I find a new dr??
