how much does your period effect your judgement and decisions?

I've been considering breaking up my boyfriend recently. the relationship is getting to hard for me. i don't want to get into it. but anyways i started my period today and i would say i'm pretty emotional throughout. i'm not sure if my period is messing with my emotions or if i really feel like we aren't working anymore. help?

All I've noticed while on period (apart from the pain and heavy bleeding) is a shortened thether to my temper. I take painkillers and just remind people I currently have a stomach ache and to not take anything I say too seriously if I get angry.

It could just be your period.  I would wait a couple weeks to still see if you feel this way.
