don't eat a lot and small baby ??

Question

My baby is small and hospital have saidthey will be inducing me at 37 weeks. I have a growth scan every two weeks to keep and eye on him. I am 30 weeks now. I just wondered if the fact I don't eat much effect how my baby is growing? Because I thought they got the nutrients no matter if your are or not.

Hard to say a lot without knowing what you mean by "don't eat much" but.... baby can only get nutrients from you. He/she can't magically get nutrients from nowhere. So yes, obviously if you don't eat properly, your baby can't "eat" properly either.

There may be issues with the placenta that could've contributed to the slow/small growth. Definitely not your fault mamma!! ❤❤

What do you mean 'you don't eat much'? No your baby doesn't get proper nutrition if you hardly eat and don't take prenatals. Your body needs to consume nutrients in order for the baby to get nutrition. Do you need to eat like a queen, no, do you need to 'eat for two' no, but if you're hardly eating or only eating junk food etc it's not good for the baby.

I don't eat half as much as i used to. I'm four months.  For instance I used to be able to eat and entire medium pizza by myself... And only be sated. Now I get two slices in and I'm gravy. Pregnancy will change a lot of things and it's vastly different for everyone. Don't stress too much. As long as you fill yourself to comtentment, don't get hunger pains, and eat decent meals. Baby will be perfectly fine. Blessings to you.

I don't eat a hell of a lot and my baby is measuring right on time. All babies grow different, and are different sizes. 
My best mates ex had to be induced at 37weeks cause their baby was only measuring at 33weeks due to problems with the placenta. 
Don't try to feel guilty, it won't be your fault.
