is pineapple good fruit to eat during pregnancy?

Hey mommys enjoying your posts! Quick question I am reading different opinions about eating pineapple during pregnancy i am today 11 weeks and love to eat pineapple is this ok to eat it?

You'd have to eat a ton of pineapple for it to matter. Fruit is one of the only things I could eat with my morning sickness so I ate a few pineapple and peach fruit cups every day and baby boy is healthy

From what I understand, for pineapple to induce labor, you'd have to eat about 7 whole pineapples - core included. So, eating a regular portion of pineapple is totally fine.

Fresh pineapple has high concentrations of bromeline which at the end of pregnancy can aid in ripening your cervix. But early in pregnancy it shouldn't have any affect, I eat it fresh and I'm 15wks

I've been eating pineapple often. It does have a lot of sugar but because it's balanced out by the fiber and digested slower than say a candy bar with the same amount of sugar, it doesn't affect your blood sugar as much. Eat away! But watch fresh pineapple, I ate too much the other day and the bromelain that's naturally in it tore up my tongue 😭 felt like I had took a drink of a really hot coffee and scalded my tongue

My doctor told me to avoid pineapple because it can cause contractions. I've had 2 previous miscarriages, so I'm not taking any chances.
