My baby is two weeks old and since day one she has been great at latching/nursing however she also took to a pacifier night two at the hospital because she was constantly wanting to soothe by sucking on her fingers. Now I am having the most difficult time understanding if she is hungry or just wanting to soothe. Although she is great at nursing, she really only nurses for about 10 minutes on one breast. When I put her down she immediately wants the pacifier and I can't tell if she is still hungry.  Anyone else having these same issues figuring out their LO needs? Also when I put her down for bed, she constantly grunts, makes noises and doesn't stop moving - she hates being swaddled because then she can't move around. I can't tell if she is uncomfortable or if that is just a common thing for some babies to do. If you can't tell, I'm a FTM.
