Vegan - anyone else raising their kids or baby to come vegan?

Please let me know if you have any book recommedations? 
I have been vegan for two years and I know what I should eat however when it comes to babies this is my first and I want to make sure my baby gets as much of everything he needs!

I personally think that you shouldn't...only because they need the nutrients. As humans were omnivores so we need both. I understand your views and maybe they can make the choice when they're older. The second thing is that toddlers can be very picky...I'd be worried they didn't like tofu or beans or the main components of their diet. Just my two cents. If anything, speak to a pediatrician and see what they recommend. Good luck 😉😊

Hi! I am raising my children vegan! Currently a 15 month old and I am 7 weeks pregnant. This is only hard if you make it hard! I have found that offering my daughter all fruits and veggies that I am eating, she will most likely eat. This is the best diet you can have your children on! You just want to make sure they are getting B12 which can be through fortified vegan foods or supplementation. There are so many YouTube families that are vegan and show you what their kids eat in a day! That has really helped me! If you do go to a doctor just make sure you find one that is all for a plant based diet, because there is no need to eat dead flesh to get nutrients ( those animals get their nutrients from plants anyways so you are really just cutting out the middle man and saving lives) I am the only vegan in my entire family and being educated on veganism really helped them understand that this was best for my family and I. Feed your baby what you eat. Make sure you offer them choices and exposure to a variety of foods. I have a lifelong vegan (8 years) and she is perfectly healthy, never sick a day in her life. She is well aware of the impact her choices create. She is old enough now that she could easily get animal products from friends or school, but she continues to make a choice not to, because she knows there are other, healthier options and because it's not what we believe. You go mama!
