Spotting at 13 weeks update

Hey ladies, I will be 13 weeks tomorrow, and I noticed when I was washing this morning that I was bleeding. About 30 min later I went to the bathroom and noticed more blood. I have a bad cough/cold, I was wondering if this could be the cause?

I also had bleeding earlier in pregnancy but I just heard baby's heartbeat yesterday morning. Update- doctor says he's not to concerned and it is very likely from coughing. I have an appointment Thursday so we shall see. Pray for us ❤
