How common is it? Spotting early pregnancy.

I had one instance of quarter size spotting(light pink color)...I'm 6 weeks and I'm not having any cramps at all?

I spotted in the beginning of this pregnancy on and off between 5 weeks and 10 weeks. It was just very light.. a pink color and only noticeable when I wiped. They never gave me a reason. Everything's fine now and I'm due in 5 weeks! Anytime you have spotting though make sure to let your dr know.

I had one instance of spotting at 5 weeks, not even enough to get on a liner but it was bright red, which was scary. Has an US at 6 weeks and all is well! We got to see the heartbeat and everything. 
My sis-in-law had spotting in her first trimester when she was pregnant with my nephew. It's never a bad idea to get checked out, but it's also extremely common.

I'm pretty sure it's very common. The baby is still implanting at that stage. Most people think implantation is just a day and it's a few days before you get a positive test but it's not. It still keeps happening for a few weeks. I had spotting from 5-10 weeks and as long as you're not having any bad cramping or pain it's usually fine. If you are worried though call your doctor. That's what they are there for.

They said about 1/4 of women who have heathy pregnancies experience some sort of bleeding in the first trimester. That's pretty common. I wouldn't worry too much, but you should let your doctor know of course :)

It's very common. Didn't have it my first pregnancy but second one I did quite often. As long as it's not heavy enough to fill a pad, red or clotty, and you don't have cramps or pain then you're fine. Always let your dr know when it happens just to be safe. They may want you to come in to check things out.
