Contractions at 33 weeks 😒
Well it all started when I forgot to take my morning sickness medicine...
Every morning me and my fiancé have the same routine since we carpool to work. He literally helps me do everything since i can barely put my pants on myself anymore let alone socks or shoes. Well yesterday morning went a bit different, he ended up having a rain day ( he's a roofer ) so that left the morning a solo event for me. Well besides waking up late, i forgot to warm up my car ( he does it ) Didn't get to eat breakfast ( overslept ) and on top of it all i forgot my morning sickness medicine, awesome.
Well i get to work ( i work at a call center ) bright and early at 7:30am. I was puking by 7:35 and that lasted up until exactly 4:38 when i got off work and puked on the way to my car. I knew something wasn't right, I had never puked an entire day and had a stomach ache like i did.. So I called my doctors office and let them know what was going on. Boom, 15 min later and i'm being strapped up to a million different monitors at the hospital.
Came to find out i didn't have a stomach ache i had been having pretty good contractions ALL DAY. I was ran 3 1/2 bags of fluid through an IV since i was dehydrated and they thought that would slow down my contractions. Well.. It didn't, they actually got a ton closer together and started to hurt like a B***H. Then came the morphine shot.
I had never had morphine before and i swear for the rest of my life i never will again. I had never been more itchy in my entire life. On top of being extremely uncomfortable i felt as if my skin was crawling and it made me sicker than i had felt all day. Their reasoning was they wanted me to relax and hopefully that would take the contractions away or slow them down. It didn't. My cervix had been checked about 3 times, closed but soft.
And my FFP came back negative witch was amazing news to hear at only 33weeks. I had the option to stay or go home with a follow up from my doctor the next day ( later today ). And i chose to go home since there was nothing the can do since it wasn't active labor. Now i'm home after not sleeping all night once the morphine eventually wore off leaving me to feel my contractions all night lol.
Has anyone else had these intense contractions so early on and not dilating?
I didn't get much information from the hospital and my dr apt isn't until this afternoon.
