Baby nursery?

I've seen a lot of couples setting up these great looking nurseries and I started to do ours but then I got to thinking that since I'll be breast feeding and up half the night I want her closer. My SO also wants to co sleep but I'm not comfortable with that so I've asked him to bring the crib in our room. If we do that then we have no pretty nursery because most of her things will be in here with us. Is anyone else not doing a Nursery? I'm a FTM also! Thanks!
