I am currently 21 weeks pregnant with my first child , I just recently got an EOB from my insurance company from my 13 week genetic testing ( which my OB/GYN office never really gave me a choice to do, they told me it was just another routine test that needed to be done ) the EOB said that our estimated cost would be $24,856. I could literally have a heart attach right now. Therefore i would like some feedback from everyone on if they did the genetic testing , if your doctors office made it out to be you had a choice to take the test , and also the total cost you paid for this test. My office used NxGen Mx to get the results. Anyone have any suggestions or comments on this ? it would be greatly appreciated before i stress myself to death.
