strep b test positive?!?

Hi ladies! So I am 37+5 and just found out I tested positive for strep b. This is my second pregnancy. I didn't have it my last pregnancy. What does this mean? I'm scheduled for my c-section 2/15. 😩

Same here, i tested positive, but had my 4th csection 2 weeks ago,  they put antibiotics thru iv and everything is fine

I was in the same situation!  But because you are having a c section you and baby are just fine! Because you don't give birth vaginally there are no chances for baby to get infected. Good luck hun!

It's super common and nothing to worry about. they'll likely just put you on an antibiotic drip during delivery
