My bf gave our cat (technically his daughters cat) to his ex wife. She is leaving for vacation for 10 days and the kitty will be in a strange home alone. He did it while I was at work and was too much of a coward to be home to face me when I found out. I was so outraged I broke up with him and threw him out of our house. There are a lot more details leading up to this but basically this is what broke us. He did it to avoid conflict with his ex and satisfy his 9 year olds temper tantrum when she wanted the cat at her mother's. I loved that cat with all my heart and I loved him. I'm so angry and so heartbroken I can hardly take it.
