My boyfriend of 1,5 year and I have been living together for the last 6 months. We had our ups and downs but we really love eachother and always find a way to make things work no matter what. A week ago we moved to a different country because he is starting his own business with some of our friends. We are now crashing at their apartment while we find a place to live. The problem is that last night we got into a heated argument because I asked him if he wanted to find a place for us to live together and he said no. He said that he wants us to have separate apartments. That he didn't feel ready no really move in together and that he wasn't planning on doing so anytime soon. I got so angry because before moving here he would always say that he wanted us to keep on living together, but now that we are here and house hunting, he changed his mind. I just feel so hurt! I invested so much moving all the way here! I don't understand what made him change his mind like that... I'm starting to think that maybe he is trying to find a way to slowly breakup with me 😭 I don't know if I should invest in staying here in this new country with him and look for a job here, even though we won't live together, or if I should just tell him this is not ok, break things up and move somewhere else on my own. Please tell me your opinion and if you ever stopped living together with your SO and if things still worked out.
