Did you wax or shave before delivery?

Just wanted to know... did you take the time to Clean up down there? Did you not do it bc maybe the baby came unexpectedly? Or have you just not cared throughout you're entire pregnancy??

I was in labor forever, so I took a shower at home and shaved the best I could before going to the hospital. Towards the end I tried to keep it as groomed as I could in case I was caught off guard by labor, and I'll do the same this time. I'm not brave enough to wax, but keeping it the best I can makes me feel better. It for sure won't be perfect since I can't see it, but better than nothing haha

Currently pregnant and if I can't see it to shave it, it's just gonna be fluffy. I'll make sure my bikini line is done for when I go swimming this summer, but other than that, I don't trust ANYONE else with a sharp instrument or hot wax near that part of my body. Due in August, so I'll be spending my entire summer very pregnant, and I'm not worrying about it.

I didn't with my first son and I regret it terribly. Not because I care about having hair down there... I usually just trim, but the post delivery bleeding makes it so much messier down there and I'm not a fan of blood drying down there or sticking to the hair. Especially when you have to wear pads. Ick.

With my son, I shaved 2 weeks before delivery (I thought I was in labor). By the time I actually went into labor, I no longer cared.

This time I was planning to wax as I can't reach and it has been irritating to me. When I went for my last appointment, my doctor checked down there because I told her it's swollen and tender. Turns out I have varicose veins 😖 with the swelling and the hair growth everything was rubbing against each other and causing some irritation. She told me not to shave so I told her I was planning to wax and she said no just leave it alone! I'm almost 36 weeks so seems like I'll end up with a bush. I might trim it if I feel it's too much though.
