We told my mom and our families before we even had our first ultrasound! We were WAY too excited to wait!

Definitely not. We told both of our immediate families the day we found out. They're going to be grandparents/uncles and aunties. And god forbid if something bad should happen you will need their support and understanding.

Up to you. Know that you'll have more support if things do go wrong. I've lost 2 and I always told right away. This is my third and I still told right away.

There is no such things as "jinxing" it.

It's totally up to you. For us we prefer to wait later and that's usually after an ultrasound (our first was with our son at 13 weeks 4 days and our twins was 15 weeks 2 days). If you aren't comfortable telling them yet explain to him you'd like to wait a little longer. Maybe tell him you want to be able to give them a good ultrasound where you can clearly see a little human in the image.

It's entirely up to you. Some people don't feel comfortable telling anyone, even family, until the 12 week mark. Some people just can't hold back their excitement and tell family right away. It's really what you guys want to do. We told our parents at Christmas when I was 11 weeks

I'll be 7 weeks and 2 days next Sunday and I think we are going to tell them then. I don't want them to suspect anything and it be a completely, happy surprise. They know we've struggled with fertility. I'm just nervous because my mother, bless her heart, will have way more trouble than us keeping the secret. Lol We want to tell immediate friends the weekend after that and then I don't care who the gossip spreads to. I want support and I don't want my moms first time of me telling her I'm pregnant to be telling her I was pregnant but we have bad news. Only good vibes for this mama!
