I didn't keep it a surprise and now I regret it. I'm still going to keep it the name we originally chose I just wasn't expecting the reaction I got (and it's a simple, common name).

Everyone, and I mean everyone had so many nice things about the name we chose. I don't think waiting wouldve made me happy at all. But maybe I would feel differently if people had been negative. I'm not sure!

I love keeping secrets and we tried to keep our first baby's name under wraps but because we would pray for her by name every night just between my hubby and I, it ended up slipping since we got used to saying it.. so we told everyone. This time around we announced the baby's name at our gender reveal party!

I decided the name I wanted when I was in 4th  grade. There are a lot of women around me pregnant with a girl too right now. I put our name out there as soon as we announced the sex. I wanted everyone to know that we were claiming that name. Anyone who tries to use it now can so if they please but we claimed it first and we will not be changing it. I feel a little crazy about this but I've wanted this name for so long haha
