baby naming dilemma

My husband and I are expecting a baby this summer and will find out the sex in a short time. We have a list of boys names to choose from, but girls names have proven harder for us to agree on. One of the names my husband brought up recently was Madeline, which I used to love until my cousin used it for her daughter a few years ago. It was a family name and I had used it as a confirmation name in high school, so it had increased meaning for me. I was not close to thinking of having children at the time her daughter was born but now I feel a little sad not to be able to use that name. This is one of about 25 first cousins and not someone I am very close with, so our kids wouldn't have much interaction ...maybe on a yearly basis. Do I even consider using this name or should I forget about it and move on? I'm sure some of my family would side eye my decision to use the name but I'm not sure it would be the end of the world. Thoughts?
