Do you think woman should have to wear makeup to look pretty?

I was talking with my mom and since I'm a lighter skin tone she said I should wear eye makeup to look pretty or else I'll look 12 but she said darker skin tones look better without makeup, do you think women need makeup to look good?

I scare people without makeup or they think I'm sick. My tan sis in laws don't wear makeup often but when they do they look gorgeous. I'm super white and have bad dark circles. 😣makeup is my friend.

I wear full on make up for parties and such but for everyday just mascara and a fun lip color! My cheeks are already red lol

I never wear makeup unless it's a very special location. I think I have much better skin and outlook on my facial appearance than many of my friends that wear makeup all the time. I think the more you use it, the more you think you need it; you get used to seeing your face like that and think you look bad if you don't have it on. Plus I think makeup blocks your pores and the chemicals etc make your skin worse. Wear it on special occasions or when you really want to, but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

Women are pretty all the time without makeup, however, I'm not one of them 😆 I'm kind of a mess without it. I don't need a lot, but it helps.

I barely ever wear makeup (some lipstick 💄💋 on special occasions), partly because I have skin problems which makes me sensitive to most makeup, partly because it makes me feel like I'm wearing a mask like my face is somehow unacceptable.

Not at all it's all about your inner confidence not your outer appearance. My husband prefers me without make up than with. Only on special occasions will I wear it:
