We had our son circumcised at 6 days old (last sunday) but the doctor didnt give us very good care instructions. I have been cleaning his penis with wet gauze and putting Vaseline on it after every diper change. My question is, how long do i need to keep doing this? When can i use regulat wipes instead of just water? When can i bathe him? His cord already fell off and ive mainly been spot cleaning since his circumcision. How do i know when his penis is fully healed? His penis is no longer red, its what i assume is normal skin color. We saw the pediatrician last monday (day after circumcision and the doctor said it all looked good but again, didnt give us too much after care info and i forgot to ask 😅)
