Ways to naturally induce at home?

Question

What are some of the things you've heard can bring on labor at home? My due date was yesterday and my doctor said if I don't have her in a week I'm going to be induced. I REALLY DONT WANT THAT. I feel strongly against pain meds and being medically induced (unless something went wrong of course) and I'd really like to get the ball rolling asap. She said my cervix is super thin and that I'm 2cm. Please send help lol

Well I turned 38 weeks today and baby is measuring ahead so I'm seeing if I can help things along.  
I've been for a long walk with dog today, 
I did some crazy dancing to some heavy metal for about half an hour! I heard dancing can help shift baby down a little further. 
Currently in the bath with a glass of wine as I've heard wine relaxes the uterus which could encourage baby to shift down further but there's conflicting articles about wine though.

Good on u hun. Natural is great. I highly recommend eating fresh pineapple, walking as much as u can, having sex and bouncing on a swiss ball. I done all of the above yesterday and all i got was a flu 😂 but ive heard people can get a flu before labor. Lets wait and see

I've been trying a yoga ball to help. I bounce and rock on it a little every day. Not sure its helping will find out when I see my doctor but I've heard it can help. Also heard primrose oil will help.

If you have a breast pump try using it! Or any nipple stimulation from yourself or significant other. And lots of sex!

Just to let you know as well, that you don't have to say yes to being induced. I did with my first and totally regret it. My second was completely natural and spontaneous. I'm pregnant with my third and they offered to induce me because she is measuring quite small (third percentile) at 36 weeks because it can be "easier to manage their weight on the outside". I asked the doctor if it was competely medically necessary, which he said no it wasn't. I asked if besides her measurements was there any other concern for the health of her or myself? He said no, I asked is the cord fine and working accordingly, is the placenta ok? He said yes everything else was ok. I said if you don't have any concerns about the health of her or myself I will not consent to being induced, sorry. I wish I had stuck up for myself with my first which turned out to be a very traumatic experience leaving me with PTSD. If the doctor had said he was concerned about the health of the baby I would of course follow his advice. Maybe you can negotiate for more frequent check ups after your due date instead of being induced to make sure baby is travelling ok?

I have lost my mucus plug for a week and a half, 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced. I'm 38 weeks exactly and just now started drinking red raspberry tea and takeing 1000 mg of evening primrose oil orally and going to insert one vaginally starting today! Wish me luck, I hope it works!

I've been drinking raspberry leaf tea before bed. It's seems to be getting the mucus plug going a little more. I'm 40+1 as well and will be induced at 41wks if she doesn't come within the next few days...
