convertible car seat?!

i would like to buy my 5 month old son a convertible carseat, since we are expecting another baby in august! i would like one that is kind of compact, since we'll have three carseats in the back seat (5 year old, the convertible and then the new babys)

If you have a Babies r Us nearby, ask them to try different seats in the car with the infant seat and 5 year olds seat in there.

I like the graco 4ever .. graco extend to fit .. i do like the slim fit as well but doesnt have as many recline options so if your 5 month old isn't very big ect then I'd stay away from the slimfit

We have a combi coccorro, definitely a compact carseat.

Clek and diono will fit there across, but they are very tall seats. If you have a small car you'll have a tough time fitting it rear facing.
