What should I expect?

On Friday I was 2 cm 70% effaced and baby is very low. I'm 37 weeks but doctor said baby is 7.5 pnds and my body is ready. And then today I lost my mucus plug, what should  I expect in the next few hours/ days ?

I'm 37 weeks and I lost my plug a week and a half ago, last tues I was 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced, and I've had contractions on and off for a week yet here I am not progressing 🙄 waiting for this little guy to finally make his entrance I'm exhausted I just want him out 😩 so I'm not really sure if that even means anything this far along 😔

hard to say, my doctor told me the same at 37 weeks and im still pregnant at 39 . i have however noticed quite a bit of cramping since i lost my mucus plug though

On Wednesday at 37+5 I went in for my first dilation check and was also 2cm and 70% effaced! She could feel babies head! When she took her hand out she noticed some blood on her glove and told me that I may bleed a little. I bled A LOT immediately after the appointment( well before even getting dressed to leave the office) and also lost a pretty big clot. She said it was normal and should stop which it did. Haven't seen any spotting since Friday morning around 9am, where I also thought I lost a piece of mucus plug. Since Friday morning I've seen nothing and the minor cramping I had those couple of days has gone. This FTM stuff and not knowing what to expect is tough! I'm on the edge of my seat everyday and so are my coworkers lol they don't want me to go into labor at work!😂
