Anyone looking to have a VBAC this time around?

I have been doing research on it. My boyfriend doesn't have any kids and I wanted to give him the experience to deal with labor, contractions and birth. But my last pregnancy was induced and resulted in me having a c-section. My sister doesn't want me to due to the risk.

Nope. 25% of a rupture is too risky for me. Also my OB/gyn doesn't allow them due to the risk and how most end up as a c section anyway.

I had to have a c section bc my son was breech. I'd always dreamt of having a vaginal birth, so I was pretty heartbroken at first. I'm definitely looking to have a VBAC this time around.

No freaking way....my labor was absolutely miserable, and I would never choose to experience anything like it again...I was unable to get a 7lb baby out of these hips (and she was 41 weeks...), so I don't see it happening the next time around...my doctor told me she stitched me extremely well, and if I wanted to try it would be safe, but that she doesn't see it ending in a natural delivery because of my hips....there's no way I'm going to go for another 38 hour labor that results in a c-section anyway...ok...I suppose no way isn't accurate...I plan to schedule a c-section the second they allow me, and if I go into labor naturally prior to the scheduled c, I will attempt it, because that means the little one at least is trying to descend, so I'll give it a shot, but not for as long as I did with my daughter. I went into labor naturally when my water ruptured, and everything after was miserable till the moment I held her...I will happily take my scheduled c-section, even though I never dreamed I would say that..
