TMI need help :(

My period is late by almost two weeks and today I noticed that I have a little bit of brown discharge & a little bit of cramping. I took a pregnancy test about a week ago and it came back negative. Would really love some help with what could be going on. I don't have insurance till march so I can't go to the doctors.
