I love my k tan wrap, it's super easy to use. I have a moby as well, but I'm not the most comfortable with it yet. Every time I put her in, I can't seem to get it right enough and she's so far down (not within kissing distance). And I've got an ergo that I really like. We went to an ice castle this weekend and it was perfect. Easy to use, comfy, and big enough that she could be in a fuzzy winter suit to keep her warm enough.

I dont like soft structured carriers for newborns for newborns i recommend woven ring slings, woven wraps or stretchy wraps. Moby or ktan are popular stretchy wraps. The k tan is prewrapped so it is easier toputon but you need to have the size right...moby is 1 size but takes a few days to learn and a little patience. Ring slings are awesome and well wovens are as well especcially since those you wont need to upsize. At about 3-5 months soft structured carriers are an easy fast option

I recommend the K'tan for a wrap and I haven't gotten my ergo in the mail yet, but I've heard only positive thing about that for a carrier. I'll be doing my K'tan for newborn stage and then switching to the ergo as she gets bigger. I used the K'tan with my second and it worked great, just slides down a bit while carrying as they get older.

My daughter liked the moby wrap when she was a newborn, I liked it because she was a small baby and a lot of carriers advise a minimum 8lb weight limit so it was a lifesaver to find one I felt safe putting her in. I borrowed the wrap though so I've returned it since I have a regular carrier now, but my daughter doesn't seem to like it much so I bought a Boba to try out and see if she prefers it.
