Relationship Advice?

I'm a freshman in highschool. I make straight A's and have a GPA of 4.57.

I date a senior. I really like him, and he's down for me. The only problem is the age difference. I'm 14 and he's 18. I understand that he's going to graduate and that the relationship won't last, but for right now, I love him. I can't tell my parents though. They'd kill me. It just really sucks because he's completely for me and texts back before I even send the text. He treats me better than anyone I've dated and I just wish we had better circumstances. I've already cried a lot because I know I'll lose him when he graduates. I'm just so torn at what to do.

I'm a freshman too and I date a senior. We met a couple years ago and my family knew him long before we became interested in each other so it worked out really well. He lives almost an hour away though so we can only see each other on weekends/days without school (and Skype everyday), but I'm in love with him and we talk about the future. We're best friends and about to hit our 5 month anniversary in a couple weeks. Don't be discouraged because of the age difference, that doesn't matter after high school at all. You know best for yourself how your parents would react, so do what you think is best for yourself, if that might be telling them,not telling them, lying about his age, etc. Good luck with everything. Also if you want it to be long term, have a talk with him about what will happen after he graduates and what his plans are. Communication is key

Well honestly, I'd tell your parents but says he's younger than he really is. Long distance relationship can always work, I've been in one for almost a year and a half. Love is love and age is just a number. As long as you know, that you always give consent. But as for you parents, it sounds like bad advice but I would say he is younger. If he's going to college or somewhere far away you can always call each other or FaceTime/Skype. Then again, you don't even need to tell your parents if he's moving far enough away you won't be able to visit him. So that's all up to you.

I was a freshman when I started dating my boyfriend who at the time was a senior. I was 14 and he was turning 18. I wan and still am an honors student. I told my parents about him and how old he was. And because my mother knew how mature I was she trusted me and trusted that I made the right decision. We just celebrated our 1 year. I would not advise that you lie to your parents about his age. At some point, they will want to meet him and that will not end very well. It may take sometime for your parents to warm up to the fact that he is 18, if they know he truly makes you happy. They will learn to accept it. I see my boyfriend twice a week. If it is meant to be, it will happen. I wish you all the luck and hope everything works out well!
