pets and babies?

Question

I have a cat and I'm worried about how it will react once the baby is born. 
How do I keep the cat out of the baby's room and bed? There's just something I don't trust about it. 
What has anyone else done to make sure their cat and baby can both live happily together in the same house?!

My kitty is soooo good with babies.  If you are worried you can get nail caps at the pet store that make it so their will be no accidental scratching. You be surprised how loving and protective they become for your baby.

I saw on Pinterest someone put a screen door in baby's room. I have a cat too and thought it was a good idea not sure if I will do it though.

I Dont do anything except keep the cat out when shes asleep. I always let her in the room and bed. I just washed the sheets before she was born. Cat was afraid of her fir 3 days, now she loves her. Just let kitty come to baby

I didn't do anything. My kitties will look at my little guy periodically and then go the other way. Literally no interest.
