Progesterone
I have some questions for the ladies who take supplements or get progesterone shots.
I've never had issues getting pregnant before. It just seemed I couldn't ever have a healthy pregnancy. 2 second trimester losses due to chromosome abnormalities. But this past year I went through a miscarriage and a chemical pregnancy. (I have no living children yet and I'm coming up on the big 3-0)
Yesterday at my yearly exam, I expressed to my doctor how I'm anxious but fearful to get pregnant. She told me to be excited, not fearful then she went on to explain that I may need to get progesterone shots but we will deal with it when we get there.
How would I know I need progesterone shots? Do they figure this out after I'm already pregnant? I'm just confused because I thought I would need to take progesterone early?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
