Pill or IUD

I've been on the pill for about 7 years now, initially started as a hormone-like treatment for heavy/uncomfortable periods. I've never been too worried about the contraception purpose of the pill until, as I've only recently become sexually active (*high five*). I'm contemplating getting an IUD, but honestly my current pill has cleared up my skin so much, and i'm shallowly afraid to give that up if get and IUD. i know everyone's body is different, but thoughts/advice???
