progesterone vaginally?

Has anyone ever had to insert a progesterone capsule in their vagina? How do you do it? I know that sounds weird, do I have to make sure it got in my cervix?

Mine has an applicator. Use a panty liner or pad because it will leak ! Good Luck

Mine don't have an applicator as I'm taking promtrium.  So not sure if yours does or doesn't but I'd not, the pills of mine are round with a glossy coating.  Easiest way I've found to insert them is just lay on my back, and I push them in the first little bit (I have to insert two, three times a day) with my thumb downwards and in. Just trying to keep it away from anything else that might get irritated.   And then I use my middle finger to push them the rest of the way up towards my cervix.   I try to lay down for a bit afterwards to let them dissolve a bit and always wear a panty liner with them but the longer you can lay down the less leaking I notice.

Yes two 200mg capsules twice a day. I just inserted them with my fingers. Had to wear liners as others have pointed out. It helped me lose a lot of weight but that's because I had estradiol prevalence and this balanced my hormones.

Yes you put it on the applicator and shove it up there! Very comfy. It melts really fast. I tried to elevate my legs for 10 mins after. They don't necessarily say you have to but it made me feel better and helped with leakage. I also took it before bed and an hour before getting up for the day so I could lie in bed with it.

Yes. Mine doesn't have an applicator you just push it in and back. Doesn't have to go too far in just far enough that it won't come out straight away. I was told to lie down for 20 mins after and that's enough time for it to absorb after that anything that comes out is casing. Only 2 more days of it for me as I've been told I don't need to take it after I've tested 😊
