So I've tried birth control twice since I had my daughter last February. Both times f*cked my body up. The first time I had no period (was ok with that) but it made me so sick and tired that I literally just slept and threw up. It was like being pregnant all over again 🤢. So i stopped taking it and waited a few months and then got the nexplanon July 1st. And I had that till November. I was on my period for 117 days when I got it out and then it went on till 125 days and finally stopped. And it was a normal period the whole time like it wasn't super crazy heavy or light just normal. In December I had a normal 7 day period that was hell on earth and now this month I've been on my period for over two weeks. I still blame the birth control and feel like it messed my body up big time. Ok now that the back story is over 😂. My husband wants me to try birth control a 3rd time and I'm thinking hell no. He doesn't want any more kids ever so I think he should have a vasectomy and problem solved. My body can do its thing and we won't have to worry about a baby. He was open to this idea while I still had the implant but suddenly changed his mind. I do at some point want another kid and feel like taking birth control regularly may ruin my chances of that cuz my is so messed up now after the first couple times. So the question is should I try it again and I'm just over reacting? Should I try the same method again or something different? Should he get fixed?
