Braxton hicks or contractions😬

So lm not sure if I was experiencing Braxton hicks or contractions last night. I woke up out of my sleep with sharp pains on the left side of my back and abdominal.. I tried taking a hot shower, walking around, laying with my butt in the air, getting a soft back rub but nothing seem to ease the pain... This went on for about 2 hours straight, I even got sick and threw up, I called my doctor but she said I was fine and take some tylonel. If it doesn't ease up in the next few hours come in, it finally did and i was able to sleep... Had a little pain this morning but not as bad as last night.. Have any of you ladies experience this before and if so can you tell me what it is?? Please and thank you!! This is my 1st pregnancy and I am currently 32weeks 5days...
