can't get my nose ring out

I honestly love my nose ring, but I have a screw ring in and I want it out it's been in over 6 months and I want to change it the thing is idk how to get it out and it causes me to start panicking.... it's irritating me in the inside of my nostril it's like it's poking me and it's itching I don't bother it with my fingers I take tissue and kinda stick it up there with salt water solution on it and that helps but I really want to just take this thing out the only other option I am forced with it going to a piercing place to get it taking out
