on your period did you get an implanon?

I just started my period and due to get my implant now. 
However my GP is shut on Saturday and Sunday, so I have to get it on Monday now. Would it still be fine to get my implant in if I'm on my 4th in my menstral cycle?
If anyone has an implant can you tell me when on your cycle you got it inserted, thanks x

When I got the implant inserted, it was about a week and a half after my period started (a week after it ended). I didn't have any problems with it being inserted at a different point in my cycle. I still ovulated that month but didn't have a period to start the next cycle.

I just got mine implanted a week ago. It was about 7 days after my period started and 3 after it ended. I still ovulated earlier this week, but I expected that because my OBGYN said that it would take about 7 days for it to take full effect.
