This does involve religion, I don't mean to offend anyone.

Me and my SO are non-religious, my MIL is catholic. We want to raise our child without religion until they are of age to understand and can study whatever religion they choose. Well, last week my MIL mentioned getting the baby it's first bible. I kindly asked her not to and left it there. Yesterday she came into our house with a baby bible, I asked her to please give it to someone else. She got angry and told me I have no right to tell her what religion SHE can raise the baby, since she's religious and we are not . I'm told her that she either respects our wishes or won't be able to see our child, my SO agrees. Am I blowing this out of proportion or is she?
