diclegis for nausea?

I'm 6w2d and have been having bad morning sickness (all day) for about a week. Several bouts of vomiting and dry heaving, having trouble eating. I called my doctor and they prescribed diclegis and say it's totally safe. I'm a vet tech so I'm on my feet for long 12 hour shifts, am constantly talking to people and generally have to make people feel calm. Being sick makes it really hard.  I feel bad taking a medication though. Anyone have experience with this stuff??
