My husband teaches middle school. A co-worker of his stops a girl student in the hall (7th grade) because the holes in her jeans go all the way up her thigh. The teacher makes the girl cover the holes with duck tape. The girl reported the teacher to the assistant principals. The AP' S tell the teacher that she was "shamming" the student 🤔. His co-worker walked away very confused. He explained to her that there is this new thing about "slut shamming". When did walking around with revealing clothes become empowerment? What are we teaching our young girls? What exactly is slut shaming? Shouldnt you be ashamed to be a slut? Shouldn't you be ashamed walking around with your butt and thighs out? This girl is in the 7th grade crying about slut shaming. Thoughts? Was the teached wrong?
