No. It's too loose and the blanket looks too heavy. Newborns can overheat very quickly when swaddled in an inappropriate blanket. Use the light muslin or cotton swaddle blankets or get a zip up swaddler.

What fabric is the blanket made out of? Swaddling is usually used with light cotton or Muslin blankets bc they overhear fast.

Technically no it's too loose and should be tight around baby in case they squirm their way down and it covers their face. Every baby is different and if she doesn't move once asleep then she'll be fine most likely
