My oldest starts kindergarten in the fall and I'm still trying to figure it out. I hate public school based on the ones I went to but that doesn't mean they're all crap and my husband was homeschooled and while I'd like to say I have the patience for that I don't, maybe an older grade. Private school may work for us depending on what's by us. All I know is I have to figure it out soon and get him on a list.

Private only because we are quite religious. Otherwise I'd do public school. I like the freedom of homeschooling and I think I could accelerate his learning from home. But I would definitely have to hire a tutor because it would be hard to balance teaching and 3 little kids at home. Im also concerned with socialization. But private schooling 3 kids is going to eventually cost us about $500,000 and we're not rich so it's not an easy decision. My husband said for that kind of money we could just open our own school lol

We are moving to one of the best districts in the state so my son can go to public school. I went to both, but I'm not willing to pay for private school any more. However, depending on how long Betsy DeVos' arms are, we may have to put him in private after all.
