weekly ultrasounds????

Question

I went for my weekly doctors appointment and he surprised me by starting next week I will have weekly ultrasounds to monitor baby until birth.  I asked if everything is okay and he said baby looks great and healthy.  Estimated current weight at 5lbs.  Just wanted to know if anyone else's doctor ordered the same?

No I haven't had one since my 20 week appointment and I was told as long as everything is fine I won't get another one

Not the usual thing, but that's probably just how your Dr does things I'm sure he'd tell you if something was actually wrong. I only get one more when I'm 34 weeks last one was at 18 weeks.

I haven't had one since 20w they told me I can see the baby by 36 weeks to know the position I wish i could see her more

I get sono's every 2 weeks. But that's because I went into preterm labor at 25 weeks. My best friend had weekly sono's her last month of pregnancy. But she was high risk and really trying for a vbac. But I'd just relax and be happy to see your little one every week. I'm excited to see mine every 2 weeks.

I see the doc every 2 weeks and I'm 33 weeks and I don't get an ultrasound everyweek
