Rubella and BC! anyone???

So my Dr ordered a blood lab and we found that I am susceptible to Rubella and that we have to stop TTC for a few months. This was very disappointing and just ruined my day. Anyway, I went and got my shot and then she put me on birth control. She put me on Yasmin. I have 3 questions really..

1️⃣ what are people's thoughts on this birth control, anyone actually have experience taking it?
2️⃣ how long does it take after stopping birth control to get a BFP?
3️⃣ has anyone else gone through this?

Don't go on birth control, especially if you're going to be trying for baby again in 3 months. BC can really mess with your body/cycle, however it varies from person to person. Use condoms, track your fertility so when it comes time to make that baby, you know when it's go time! Good luck!

I haven't gone through this situation, I haven't ever been on any bc, BUT I do know that after stopping bc it varies for each woman how early they can get pregnant. Some get their bfp within a month of stopping bc while others it takes a full year to get their bfp. Sorry I can't be much more help than that.
