Measuring Big??

I had a drs appointment yesterday at 34w 4days and was measuring at 38 weeks. Dr is sending me to get an ultrasound on Friday to see if the baby is really big or if I just have extra amniotic fluid.. If the baby is that big do you think I would be induced early to avoid the baby getting bigger? Dr said she doesn't want me giving birth to a 10+lb baby... Just wondering if any of you ladies have experienced something like this??
