Anyone not want to have kids with their husband?

Question

My husband is a micromanager, control freak and everything has to be in order and clean before he can relax. This leads to me feeling like when I come home from work I need to clean asap so I don't hear him nag on me etc. The house is not even very messy just clothes that are not put away. It makes me feel like having kids with him would be exhausting since it requires more cleaning and things to put away etc. Any input on how to deal would be greatly appreciated.

Would he be open to anti-anxiety meds or counseling to help him take it in stride and not stress out so much? My mom had similar issues but meds helped her SO much. She's much happier now and much less stressed out... If you really want kids, it seems incredibly sad to have to give that up (for either of you to have to give that up) because of something as small, in the grand scheme, as cleaning... 😕 I quite understand your side, though. Stressful!

Does he get angry when it's not clean or just kinda bitch about it? Did you know he was like that when y'all got together? I just feel like it's borderline mental abuse that if you don't come home from work and get the house together then he'll be irritated. That man has 2 hands too. And I wouldn't have a baby with him unless he realizes that he will also have to pick up after the baby. It won't just be up to you to keep everything spotless for him.

Gees yeh he would need to not nag me for sure. I swear for like 6 weeks all I did was breastfeed. They just latch and stay latched! I'd be free a few minutes up to 15 each hour from the boob sucking but only as long as I didn't put him down! I'd give him to my husband so I could shower and he'd scream! He only wanted mom. I couldn't even use the swings and stuff like other moms. Nope just my arms would let him sleep. Even at night. lol I'm not complaining. Just  saying I adore this kid I do. Even at 3 1/2 months he's still decently clingy. I thank God my husband is so carefree and patient. He does most the cleaning. Otherwise on his days off I give him the baby so I can clean and feel productive

It definitely sounds like something you and your husband need to talk about. There can be a solution and it doesn't have to be giving up kids altogether, you guys just need to talk about it.

Ha having a baby will break that fast! My husband likes things just so as well. To the point where he told my nephew he had to eat his food on the floor of the living room and not on the coffee table, because he did not want him to spill on it. I put a stop to that immediately! He is not a dog! He puts things away that I am using and then I have to hunt my stuff down. We have a three month old now. I am going to laugh when this one starts making messes.  Although he is starting to get better since it is harder to do a lot around the house now. Although he does help me clean, but does not believe in dusting for some reason.

When i got with my man .. i didn't want kids at first... cuz i focused on me a lot and wanted to spoil me all the time lol But now i want a family , a big family and have my husbands little babies. 😊 In life you have ur own decisions and whatever you feel like what's best for you so maybe later you would want babies just not yet maybe or he isn't the one.
