Daddy-Daughter Dates?

I'm not sure if any of you on Facebook heard of "Caitlin Fladager" who's lost about her husband and 3-year-old daughter going on father-daughter dates, that went viral, and made multiple news stations. Caitlin received hate for posting pictures and videos of it.. What's your opinion on the father-daughter "dates" that everyone has spun out of hand?

*UPDATE*

I DO NOT think that in any way, shape or form that "father-daughter dates" is inappropriate. Personally, I would LOVE to have had those moments with my father. Which now, I am currently 18 years old, and I am now FINALLY getting a relationship with my father. I wish more men would do that.
