Hi ladies! Just a well meaning reminder to make sure that anything heavy in your nursery (even just a picture frame ) is anchored properly into studs in your wall, not just nailed into drywall.

If you live in a place with a ton of earthquakes (like I do - California), maybe over the crib or changing table isn't the best place for artwork or big pieces of decor.

Same goes for anchoring ANY tall furniture to the wall (all it takes is one grab of a baby learning to stand to tip something over, forget mother nature. This is an all too common cause of fatalities in children).

With all those Pinterest nursery ideas out there and the excitement of baby, it's so easy to forget that what's beautiful might not be safe.
