Where in Florida is best for a mid March beach babymoon?

If you're looking for beach I'd say Pensacola. But get a hotel ON the beach- otherwise the drive is annoying.  Clearwater is better for more stuff to do, but for a babymoon you might not want to DO stuff.  Never been to Naples except for passing through. 
FYI I live in Fl- we're fine with Zika at this point except for a tiny area in Miami. So I agree with your OB, it's fine. :)

I've only been to one place in Florida, fort Meyers, and we stayed on the beach near lovers key state park. It was stunning

Check out Indian Rock Beach just south of Clearwater. We stayed right on the beach for under $200 a night. We would walk about 5 mins into town in the morning and watch the dolphins swim in the harbor. We went through Seaside Real estate in Indian Rock Beach.

Anywhere I'm In boca Roatan right now. It's about 20 mins north of Ft Lauderdale and the weather is perfect! Check out VRBO they have great condo deals. :)

Mid March is prime spring break time for Clearwater and it's a mad house around there! If you're looking for something more relaxing and romantic I would go to the Naples area...specifically Captiva and Sanibel Islands.

I wouldn't go to Florida at all personally because of Zika risks. I had 4 losses last year and just don't want to risk anything.

I've been to Florida multiple times during the pregnancy and am a magnet for mosquitoes. I haven't contracted Zika and have never worried about it. I personally love the Clearwater area!
